Hi y’all! I started this blog as a class project and have now transitioned it into a personal website about my travels and experiences both in and out of the classroom.
I’m a Teaching Fellow at Elon University in North Carolina with an English “teacher licensure” major. I spent my spring semester at Elon studying abroad at St. Clare’s in Oxford, England and while there, I worked one day a week with ESL students at a local high school. Then, during the summer of 2018, I spent 8 weeks in Ecuador teaching English at a summer camp with WorldTeach.
While I love to travel, Texas will always be my home. Texas forever! At home, every Sunday night is family night. Most nights you can find my family eating Mexican food or BBQ and watching the Spurs’ games. I enjoy studying language and culture, making international friends, and taking weekend trips! In my free time, I love to read, spend time outdoors, and work with kids.
After graduation, I will be spending 10 months teaching English in the Czech Republic through the Fulbright program.
Follow my blog if you’d like to keep up with my adventures!
